Rocky and Bullwinkle

I wanted to make a caricature of Bullwinkle, but I think it is to subtle.

I think rocky is great. But I find him hard to draw..

check Johns post about Rocky and Bullwinkle, I got the originals from that post. But don't forget to tell me what you think ;)

Bounche walk

I started animating one of John K's Lesson.
10 x beats. Flip the Frog: double bounce walk

I started with setting the keyframes. I did that with looking when the character was at his highest points during the walk. I didn't do the inbetweens.
I didn't understand it all too well and after I compaired it with the fla file from John I now know that I didn't aproached it right from the start. I need to use the exsheet next time.
Here you can see my test.
Here is my try.

Flash is really excellent for this kind of study's. It's allot faster than do it hand drawn.

When generic is a good thing

Yesterday I made this lion in the first pose. It is really a generic character.
P Rizzo brought me on the Idea to use a modelsheet from a Tom & Jerry cartoon and make some of those poses with my character, because the Lion have the same basic construction as Jerry. I think it whas a good excersice, I noticed some things when I whas working on it (for the next drawing). The inking is also gooing much faster, maybe I did this one to fast and to sloppy.

Tom & Jerry modelsheet I used.

I think I need to figure out how I can save my blog on my computer.
